The F1 KOBOX is a decorative-looking fence with an appearance that is completely dominated by the natural stone. It is suitable for all kinds of environment; the clear and simple design evokes the minimalist style. The structure is built 25cm deep in the ground, can have a height of 80 to 240cm. It can be combined with wood or other metal e.g. -wrought iron- fence elements. Since the fence is essentially environmentally friendly, reusable and the stone constituting its main element is a natural material, it appears as a perfect alternative in urban outskirts and monument protective areas, where only natural building materials are permitted to be used. It can perfectly be developed in various ways according to our customers’ needs.

The pillar, the spacer hooks and the mesh that all constitute the metal structure are galvanized i.e. Zinc-platted. The binding elements are made of stainless steel. The coating, in accordance with the European quality regulations, guarantees a lifespan of at least 55 years. The welded fence panels (metal meshes) are produced with a division-size of 5 x 20cm and a wire-thickness of a,c=6mm and b=5mm; shown on the picture. The horizontally doubled wire ensures extreme stability and rigidity for the mesh structure.

The fence is constructed fast with "clean technology" (no rubbish on site), the execution does not need special expertise; however, the accurate installation of the pillars is very significant. The filling material is usually frost-proof road metal, perhaps shingle, but there is a possibility to develop new varieties. In our show area, gabion fences combined with logged wood, broken tiles or bricks can be discovered. We have also come across gabion fences which were decorated with glass gravel.

Assuming the average conditions of the soil, a properly-compressed broken stone bedding is sufficient as foundation for the fence; only the pillars need to be built in concrete pier-foundation. (Find the detailed Construction Guide).

Wir setzen den Zaun in Einheiten um, die Einheiten sind auf den Aufbauskizzen sichtbar (Illustration 2.,3.,4.). Eine Einheit ist optimal 2,5m lang und 80-240cm hoch. Eine Einheit enthält eine Säule, zwei Zaunfelder (Stirnwand und Hinterwand) und die nötigen Befestigungsschellen, Distanzhalteranker. Die Einheiten kommen nebeneinander bis der gewünschten Zaunlänge, dann kommt der Schließsäule. Optionale Möglichkeiten: Falls der Zaun nicht zwischen zwei Mauern kommt, braucht man noch "Endschließgitter" (zum Anfang und zum Ende) um den Zaun schließen zu können. Weitere Option ist das Deckungsgitter, was auf das Dach kommt, um die Steine zu beschützen und den Diebstahl zu preventieren. Deiser Zauntyp kann noch variiert werden, durch die Mischung der Füllungsmaterialien, oder durch Holzeinlegearbeiten.
